The house dates back to the mid 1880s but was comprehensively renovated in 1998 to give a cosy and comfortable modern feel. Accommodation consists of a living room with solid fuel burning stove, and a kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave oven and washing machine. There is one double room and a twin room and also a bathroom with toilet. The porch/dining area has a magnificent view out to sea.
All bed linen and towels are provided for guests, some logs are provided for the stove and extra coal can also be purchased. The electric storage heaters can be adjusted as necessary. All electricity is included in the cost.
