Achadaphail is situated on the Ardtun Peninsula approx 30 miles (47km) south west from Craignure (main ferry connection to Oban).
The two main ferry links to Mull are by Caledonian MacBrayne, Oban-Craignure and Lochaline-Fishnish, with a third (more indirect for the Ross of Mull) from Kilchoan to Tobermory.

  • Take the A849 from Craignure (approx 50 mins)
  • 1.2 miles (2km) before Bunessan take a turn to the right, signposted 'Knockan, Ardtun'
  • Follow the narrow, bendy road approx 1/2 mile (1.1km) and Achadaphail is the 3rd house on the left hand side, gable to the road, behind a stained wooden gate.
